About
The Forest Carbon and Climate Program (FCCP) aims to increase understanding and implementation of climate-smart forest management, which inextricably links climate change mitigation and adaptation. The FCCP was established to connect professionals, natural resource managers, decision-makers, students and the broader public with the value of forested lands and forest products in addressing climate change.

FCCP Releases Research Reports on Maryland and Pennsylvania from the State-Level Forest and Forest Product Carbon Modeling Project

The two newly released state-level reports are titled, “Impact of Forest Management and Wood Utilization on Carbon Sequestration and Storage in Pennsylvania and Maryland”. Each of the two state reports may be downloaded separately. -
Free regional graphics and white papers now available on the FCCP website

New maps, figures, and three white papers—based on content developed for FCCP Intensive: US Regions professional development courses—are now available for download and free use with citation from the FCCP Open Resource Library. -

Graduate Certificate
Earn a Graduate Certificate in Forest Carbon Science, Policy, and Management. The Certificate consists of three 3-credit courses, all available completely online. Participants include a wide range of graduate students, recent graduates, and working professionals.
Professional Courses
The FCCP hosts a collection of online non-credit courses that provide professionals with practical knowledge and skill-building in topics of forest carbon science, policy, and management.
Partners and Projects
Program objectives are achieved through working with strategic partners to better communicate and bring attention to key topics, engage in collaborative research, create educational content and programming, and bridge dialogue gaps on carbon and climate topics related to forests and forested lands.
Open Resource Library
The Open Resource Library (ORL) is an online space dedicated to sharing educational outputs from our for-credit and non-credit course offerings to a wide audience of practitioners, educators, and members of the public. The primary goal of the ORL is to increase access to educational imagery, tools, and content regarding topics of forests and climate. This resource will be continuously updated to ensure visitors have access to up-to-date and relevant content from the FCCP.
